scooting by....

Hello lovelies I hope your all having a good start to the week. I haven't done a card challenge since pops was born so I thought I would join in. I used some paper smooches stamps for this card and colored in these cute animals with my markers, then I stitched around the edges which I also haven't done for a long time, as you know I am  rubbish with a sewing machine so I have to hand stitch my cards......... ha ha!!


I used the chubby chums stamp set along with party posse and spiffy scooters. If you want to have a go with this weeks challenge you can join in  HERE-paper smooches anything goes.

Baby girl card and a huge flower

Good morning friends I hope your all having a good start to your weekend. It's sunny again today but were due some rain later.

I made this baby card last night and used some watercolour paper and inktense pencils to make the background. The hippo is stamped onto kraft and I used my pencils to colour her in and added some hand stitching, I made the flower using a top that was ready to be thrown so I decided to recycle it lol! The baby greeting was cut using the cameo and that just about finished the card.

Cute baby acetate card

Good afternoon friends I hope your all having a great week, its very hot here today! I made this baby acetate card last night for the paper smooches sparks challenge-anything goes. I used this cute bee which I coloured in using my pro markers then added some glaze to his wings. I then hand stitched the inside of the card and cut out the greeting cute baby with my cameo.

This is the first acetate card I have made and I thought it was a nice change to do something new :)

Owl friends

Hello crafty friends I hope your all having a good week and looking forward to the weekend. Its been so hot this week! Thank you so much for visiting me today :)

I made this card today for cute card Thursday challenge 331-for the birds. I used some woodgrain paper and hand stitched around the edges. I then stamped these owls with my unity stamps and paper pieced them together. The speech bubble is cosmo cricket and I then printed and cut these alphabet stickers. I finished off the card with a heart and a button.

Thinking of you

Good morning friends I hope your all having a good week, have you been up to much?

I made this card last night for :the shabby tea room-week #226 polka dot love

I used some polkadot blue paper and cut the card tag on my cameo which I then stamped the wellies onto. I used my pencils to lightly colour the wellies and raindrops. I then added a thinking of you stamp as the greeting. The flowers and pink tag were also cut with my cameo and I then added a button, ribbons and some gems.

Hello lovely friends I hope your all having a good week so far, I can't believe we are in June already! I don't even know where last month went...

I made this card for fussy and fancy challenge-outside. I used a penny black stamp which I then coloured with my inktense pencils. I added some hand stitching, rolled flowers and a ribbon flower to finish the card off.

hey cookie!!!

Hello crafty friends I hope you are all having a nice morning, and good start to the week. It has suddenly got very dark and cloudy here typical as I have just put the washing out ha ha!

I have made this card for the craftin desert divas challenge-pun. I used my cameo to cut this cookie shape and then colored him in, the greeting was also cut on my cameo. I added some hand stitching and a button to finish the card off. Believe it or not this card took a lifetime to make ha ha, I think as I spent a long time on the silhouette software and the colouring, and piecing him together along with the stitching...... Anyway  he is all finished now :)

Monster love

Hello friends I hope your keeping well and having a lovely Saturday evening, I thought I would just pop in with a card I made tonight. As you know I have a weird thing for monster stamps I'm not sure why I think they are just fun to colour. I used my inktense pencils to colour them in with and done some hand stitching :)

Good morning friends, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. It goes by too fast! I hope you all managed to relax at some point. I was really lucky as my parents looked after my little girl Saturday so we went bowling and I have to say that I am shocking at bowling :) In fact I don't think there is a sport that I do well in...


I have made this card for the penny black Saturday challenge, which is to use your favorite stamp. I coloured the image with my inktense pencils and of course I had to add huge flowers and hand stitched around the edge of the paper. I really wish I was good with a sewing machine ha ha! I added a pink bow and then I added a button with twine and a mini clip.

A gorjuss birthday

Hello lovelies I hope you are having a nice Saturday so far. We have some sun and clouds today so I can't complain. Are you all set for Easter?  

I made this card and loaded it up with everything lol! I used a gorjuss girl stamp and then coloured her in, the flowers were made using my cameo along with the tags. I hand stitched the border and added some ribbons and of course buttons :)

Hello my lovelies I hope your all having a relaxing Sunday. I was child free this afternoon so I thought the best way to spend my time was to craft :) I have to say the house has been so quiet and peaceful, it feels odd he he.

I made this card for the my favorite things sketch challenge which you can find here. I colored the stamp in with my promarkers and added some stitching and to finish I added the button.

Father's Day tool card

Good morning crafty friends I hope your all having a good start to the weekend. 

I just popped in to show the Father's Day card I made last night, most of the products are by echo park and I used my cameo to cut the tools and some tags. There is also a cosmo cricket tag and letters and the stamped sentiment is by kaisercraft.

Good morning friends, I hope you are all having a nice start to the weekend.

I made this card last night for the fussy and fancy Friday challenge and the theme was travel. You can find the challenge right here if you fancy a go :) I used some papermania travel papers, the stamp is by October afternoon. I colored her in with my inktense pencils and I hand stitched around the edges.

 I love making travel cards, I think they must be one of my favorite themes :)

Nurse calling

Hello friends, I hope your all enjoying your week. I have just popped in with this card I made for my favorite things sketch challenge which you can find here.

I really enjoyed working off a sketch, I don't usually use sketches but I will in future :)

How sweet is the nurse? I am in love with these images they are just the cutest! I used my inktense pencils to color her in, and I also hand stitched the green paper (Kaiserkraft) around the edges. I used a polkadot embossing folder and finished off with a paper smooches stamp.

Three little mice

Good morning friends I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did you do anything special? The weekend always goes so fast! Thank you all for your lovely comments and a huge hello to my new followers.
The sun is out today but its so cold I can't wait for summer :)

I made this card for the following challenge:
simon says stamp glitter it

I used a penny black stamp and used my inktense pencils to color them in. I then added some stickles to the cupcake. The stitching I did by hand and added some ruffles to the other papers. I then added a bow and button with some twine. To finish the card off I added some handmade flowers and washi tape.

Mothers day card

Hello friends I hope your all having a good Wednesday. Thank you all for my lovely comments and a big hello to my new followers i appreciate every single one of you :)

I made this card last night, for a few challenges:
craftin desert divas
the shabby tea room

I used a gorjuss girl stamp and colored her in with my inktense pencils, I then hand stitched the outer paper and added some rolled flowers,  prima flowers and gems. The greeting stamp is by kasiercraft. I also used some twine to wrap around the ruffled paper and I also looped some through the giant button.

I am actually on time this year for mothers day cards :)

Me to you birthday

Hello crafty friends, I hope your all having a good afternoon.

I made this card for Mrs A's butterfly challenge which you can find here. This card has a lot of elements going on so here goes....

The graph paper is by cosmo cricket, which I hand stitched. The doily topper was die cut and hand stitched again, the bear is a topper I found while rooting round for some other bits. The butterflies were cut using my cameo machine along with some of the rolled flowers. The large flower is form hobbycraft. I then added some buttons to finish the card off.

Hedgehog, banner and a butterfly card

Good afternoon crafty friends, I hope your all having a good week. The sun is out again today woohoo!

I made this card for the following challenges:
my craft spot monday challenge 128-cute critter
craftin desert divas-birthday

I used a penny black stamp and colored the hedgehog in with my inktense pencils. The rolled flowers and banner were cut using my cameo machine. The newspaper print is also from their store. I had to do some hand stitching it seems a while since I have stitched on my cards, but I have still not got that sewing machine out, I just think we are not going to be friends considering I have busted three needles now....whoops!
